A leisurely walk in the south of Bayreuth
Along Bayreuth’s best-known green spaces the city shows a different side. A perfect loop through the Studentenwald for slowing down and taking it easy.
Route description
The walk begins on Ludwig-Thoma-Straße. After turning left into Justus-Liebig-Straße you reach Röhrensee wildlife park. Follow the path through the park to Thiergärtner Straße, which you cross to enter the woods. A forest path brings you back to the main road. Left via Maulbeer-Allee the route returns to Röhrensee. It is well worth adding a loop onto the university campus to visit the Ecological-Botanical Garden.
