From Bayreuth to Neudrossenfeld and back
A cycle path for the whole family, waiting to be explored. Mostly surfaced tracks make the Rotmain loop a relaxed outing.
Route description
Starting at Bayreuth main station, the tour begins left towards the city centre. Via Luitpoldplatz the route passes the Canale Grande into Maximilianstraße. At the end of the Rotmain-Center join the cycle path that runs directly beside the Red Main. The paved path leads straight via Heinersreuth and Altenplos as far as Neudrossenfeld. For the return ride, take the same cycle path back into town. A good place to stop is Maisel’s Bier-Erlebnis-Welt.
