For travelers with a camper, Bayreuth offers a very special service. A camping place, directly in nature and close to the Bayreuth thermal spring.

It is possible to use the paying parking spaces with supply and disposal next to the thermal spring. During opening hours the sanitary facilities can be used for a small fee. The Bistro at the Lohengrin thermal spring, is opened daily from 10 Am to 9 PM.

The bus line 303, leaves every 30 minutes, directly from the camping site, to the downtown area of Bayreuth where many retail stores entice shopping and attractions from different eras can be visited. There are also various large and small grocery stores

The surroundings of the Lohengrin thermal spring invite to explore and linger. The beautiful country side of the Fichtelgebirge and the Franconian Switzerland, as well as the Eremitage, with its historic parks, are always worth a visit. The golf course at Rodersberg and the AOK Nordic-walking- trail await sports minded people. In addition there are numerous restaurants and other culinary places like special butchery stores, breweries and pastry shops, which also await to be discovered.

Parking is limited to three weeks. A new use of the camping place is therefore possible only after three weeks.
