Healing water in Bayreuth
With around 1,000 square metres of water and its state-recognised healing spring, the Lohengrin Therme offers everything your heart could desire.
The spa is fed with water from the Friedrichs-Therme, which was recognised as a state healing spring by five ministries of the Bavarian State Government in 1993. The healing water comes from a depth of 1,222 metres, is an impressive 20,000 years old and has a temperature of 36 degrees Celsius at the bottom of the well.
Thermal baths
Around 1,000 square metres of water are available to guests of the bathing area. You can drift along in a current channel or the whirlpool and enjoy the moment. Massage jets spread across the pools offer further relaxation. All bathers are welcome to join the activity programme, which includes aqua aerobics as well as tai chi. All activities in the programme are free of charge and are led by the trained In Balance team. The attractively designed outdoor area also invites you to linger and unwind. Enjoy an unforgettable day at the spa with your loved ones.
Sauna area
It is not only the water that makes a visit to the spa a special experience. The sauna area offers a total of seven saunas with temperatures ranging from 55°C up to 95°C. You will also find cosy relaxation rooms, cold plunge and foot pools as well as whirlpools and steam rooms. Throughout the day you can choose from up to 20 different sauna infusions, including special infusions such as the honey infusion held at regular intervals.
Various other offers, such as a meditation and fantasy journey and a dedicated ladies’ day, round off the extensive programme. To finish off your sauna session, the spa bistro invites you to lunch or dinner.
Lohengrin SPA
A selection of 30 treatments and therapies gives bathers plenty of options. Various packages and combination offers also invite you to spend a wellness day with your loved ones. Choose the programme that suits you from classic full-body massages, relaxing facials or offers for couples.
Right next door lies the magnificent landscape park Hermitage, which invites you to take a stroll after your visit. Colourful flower beds and enchanting water displays in the fountains make the perfect end to your spa day.
