About the Maisel’s Beer Experience World
In the Maisel’s Beer Experience World, guests can now experience the traditional part and home of Franconian brewing culture on a tour of 4,500 square metres. They wander past powerful steam engines, gleaming copper kettles in the brewhouse, through the hop room and the old cooling vessels to the large collections of international beer glasses, historic mugs and valuable enamel signs.
The tour goes beyond the historical roots and shows how the craft of brewing has developed over the course of four generations and how the Maisel master brewers today brew Maisel & Friends craft beers full of passion and inventiveness in the ultra-modern brewing workshop. The fermentation cellar and wooden barrel storage show what craft brewing is all about today.
New since October 2025: Braukunstwelt
This is a completely new part of the Maisel’s Beer Experience World. Here you can experience how the four ingredients of beer – water, malt, hops and yeast – can be used to create an almost infinite variety of flavours and beer styles at interactive stations according to the motto “4 ingredients, 1,000 possibilities” . They discover the importance of the raw materials for the brewing process with all their senses: They can smell, feel and taste them and at the same time learn how the master brewers at Maisel & Friends become true brewing artists with dedication and passion.
