Welcome to the official website of the Bayreuth Bürgerfest – your ultimate ticket to fun, music and unforgettable moments! From 4 to 6 July 2025, the picturesque city centre was transformed into a festival oasis full of life, love and laughter for the 46th time.
The 46th Bayreuth Citizens’ Festival: A festival of encounters and surprises awaits you!
The Bürgerfest 2024 was an unforgettable experience: three days full of music, dance and lively encounters on 16 stages with around 80 artists. 20 rousing show groups provided excitement and set the festival in motion. Over 100 partners, restaurateurs, vendors and event organisers created a wide range of offerings, from culinary delights and handmade products to exciting hands-on activities that left nothing to be desired.
Another highlight was the artists’ market on Sunday, which invited visitors to stroll and discover. Numerous artists from the region presented their works in Kanzleistraße, transforming it into an “open-air gallery” with works of art to touch and take away.
Next year, the 46th Bayreuth Citizens’ Festival is just around the corner, taking place from 4 to 6 July 2025 – and this festival will be very special: in the anniversary year of the 200th anniversary of the death of the poet Jean Paul and the 50th anniversary of the University of Bayreuth, special surprises await you! Look forward to unique programme items and special guests.
