School Museum in the Richard Wagner Gymnasium

The school museum in the Richard Wagner Gymnasium shows the development of the school from the private higher tuition school of 1867 to a modern, coeducational led gymnasium.

A development as it was typical for former “girl schools” in the evangelical areas of
Franconia. It can also be tracked to what extend and in what way political events (world war
1, National Socialist dictatorship, build up of democracy after 45) influenced school life.
Historic teaching- and teaching materials, scientific experiment devices, student works as
well as an extensive certificate collection, complete the excursion into the history of
education.
